The TD Banknorth Music Stroll will be back again every Thursday this summer featuring roving musicians who will entertain outdoor diners and shoppers on Main Street, Hyannis.
July 2 through August 27, Thursdays from 6pm-9pm. Free and fun for families. The first 2009 Summer Music Stroll will kickoff on Thursday, July 2nd with The Parkington Sisters, a charming, all-local, 5 sister rock and folk band; Pink Cadillac, a band performing music from the 50s, 60s and more; The Amazing Richard, performing two magic shows every Thursday night from 6:30-7:30 right in front of Ryan Family Amusements, and various other musicians. Thursday, July 9th will feature music from the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s, featuring Dan McCarthy and his program, “On The Sunny Side of The Street;” and the Gravikord Duo, playing folk, jazzy pop, in addition to original music. Every Thursday from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. throughout the summer new and exciting musicians will be performing on Main Street. Come and enjoy a summer evening strolling Main Street, listening to great music, and visiting over 120 shops and 40 restaurants and cafés. |
