The Community School offers a year-round interesting curriculum for all residents of Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts with easy access, just off Exit 3, Mid-Cape Highway at Sandwich High School.

Attention parents:  If you are looking for fun extra-curricular activities for your kids (and yourself), look no further than the Sandwich Community School. The Community School was founded in 1974 and has grown from 600 registrations in 1974 to over 20,000 today - - and continues to thrive.
Enrollment for weekly summer camps is open now and the convenience of online registration is always available.

SUMMER Camps

Whether your child is the outdoorsy or athletic type or prefers to put their brain to the test even when school is out, you’ll find the class and camp choices interesting and varied from sports camps (tennis, baseball, archery and much more) to music, dance, acting and cheerleading.

FAMILY Fun

Choose from classes for kids that custom fit their interests or join your children for family fun in classes like Cupcakes for Kids (and Parents Too!).  Or bring the whole family for a night of ghost hunting at three cemeteries along Route 6A  and don’t forget to bring your camera or video camera as you might just “bump” into one of the mysterious inhabitants.

Teen Time

There’s plenty for teens too! Older kids are welcome to sign up for classes like Getting Serious about the College Process, SAT Prep, or how about the 4-H Babysitting class.

Dive on In!

The Community School Pool offers American Red Cross Swimming lessons for children and adults year-round.  You will also find springboard diving, synchronized swimming, parent/child aquatics and more! Just looking for a little exercise? Check out the adult lap swim and adult aquatic exercise schedules.
