Putt for a good cause at "Strokes of Genius" in Hyannis

Local treasures to be celebrated in a mini-golf course constructed on Hyannis Main Street!

The Barnstable Education Foundation has created a fun way to raise money with "Strokes of Genius". The foundation a private, non-profit organization, independent from the Town of Barnstable, raises funds to benefit Barnstable schools.

This summer the foundation is sponsoring a special event 9-hole mini-golf course on Main Street in Hyannis.  Each hole was designed by a different artist/team of artists.

The Cape Cod themes for each of the holes are:

  • Lobsters
  • The Hyannis Mets
  • Beaches
  • Shells & Seagulls
  • Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute
  • The Rotary
  • Davy Jones Locker/Cape Cemeteries
  • Sea Serpents
  • Lighthouses & Harbors
  • Ice Cream

The course is located near the corner of Ocean Street and Main Street in Hyannis--across the street from Ben & Jerry's and is open Saturdays from July 18th to August 9th from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Tickets are $5.

All proceeds benefit the Barnstable Education Foundation, a non-profit that raises money to support programs in the Barnstable Public Schools that are not funded by tax dollars. For more information go to www.BarnstableEducationFoundation.org or call 508-420-2067.
