Help Decorate the Hyannis Public Library Mitten & Hat Tree
Tree will be on display from December 6 through December 20
This year marks the 18th anniversary of the Hyannis Public Library's Annual Mitten & Hat Tree. For the past 17 years, the tree has been the collection spot for hats, mittens and any other warm items for the area's children and youth who don't have access to such basic necessities.
It only take a little time, talent or caring to contribute to such a worth cause. If you don't knit, crochet or sew, consider purchasing the materials and recruit someone who does! Store purchased winter items are also welcome and appreciated.
The Trustees and staff of the Hyannis Public Library are eager to accept your contributions to this very worthy cause. The tree will be on display from December 6 to December 20. After that time, the items will be distributed to local charity organizations.
Please join the Hyannis Library and give to this very worthy effort!
The Hyannis Library is located at 401 Main Street in Hyannis. Give them a call at 508-775-2280 or visit the website here.

We spend the first twelve months of our children's lives teaching them to walk and talk and the next twelve telling them to sit down and shut up.
